Currently, workers without normal working hours have their average weeks’ pay calculated over the last 12 weeks they have actually worked, for the purposes of working out their holiday pay.
From the 6 April 2020, this holiday pay reference period is extended to 52 weeks, or the number of complete weeks for which the worker has been employed (if less).
