Brexit changes proposed for holiday leave, rolled up holiday pay and WTR record-keeping


In the first of a series of deregulation announcements expected by the Government, three areas of change have been announced:


  1. merging ‘normal’ holiday leave with ‘additional’ holiday leave, to create one entitlement.

  2. allowing ‘rolled-up’ holiday pay.

  3. removing the requirement for record-keeping under the Working Time Regulations for working hours.


The Government believes that the initial package of regulatory reform will reduce unnecessary regulation for businesses, cutting costs and allowing them to compete.
