Current Government advice “recommendations” that businesses and organisations keep a record of customers, visitors and staff, which many have voluntarily been doing.
However, with the new ban on social gatherings of more than six people, the recommendation will become law from the 18 September, with fixed penalties for organisations who fail to comply.
