Furlough extended and no January review

The Chancellor has announced that the furlough scheme has been extended by another month to the end of April 2021.

He also announced that employers can continue to reclaim 80% of their employee’s wages until the end of the scheme. The Government had previously said that it would review the contribution at the end of January 2021, with a view to reducing contributions, but this appears not to be happening.
