As you will be aware, England goes back to the three-tier system from next Tuesday, the 2 December 2020.
The Government has updated its 14 guides which cover different types of work for working safely due to Coronavirus. It has stressed that the emphasis is on businesses and employers to read the guide(s) which are applicable to them.
In terms of home working, this should continue where possible, with employers encouraged to enable a greater degree of home working. Guidance will be strengthened to be very clear that anyone who can work from home should do so.
Mental health issues or concerns, and the need to work on-site physically (for example in the construction and manufacturing sectors) are examples of specific reasons why attendance in the workplace may be needed.
