From the 6 April 2020 the maximum gross weekly wages used to calculate a statutory redundancy pay increase to £538 per week.

For employees who earn less than this, it is their normal gross weekly wage.

To be entitled to a statutory redundancy payment, employees must have been employed for at least two years. It is based on the employee’s weekly pay, length of service and age and subject to a maximum of 30 weeks.
