Margaret-Anne (Mags) Trench established BarrCo in September 2007.

Mags qualified as a solicitor in June 1999 and has specialised in employment law since January 2001 when she joined Abbey Protection Group Limited. She worked in the employment and litigation departments, before becoming an in-house consultant.

She has extensive experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious work and has provided in-house training and external seminars.

Mags provides advice on all areas of employment law, with a particular interest in:

• Unfair dismissal, including redundancy;

• Compromise Agreements;

• Post employment restrictions.

Mags obtained her Masters Degree in Employment Law from Leicester University in 2007 and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Alex qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has spent much of his career at major City law firms. He specialises in employment law advising both employers and employees, with an emphasis on contentious work and in particular:

Unfair dismissal and redundancy
Compromise agreements
Negotiation of contracts.

Alex is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
